Who We Are

Meet your Sequel Team

David Boyar, CEO

David-Boyar-Profile

David Boyar founded Sequel CFO in 2014 after seeing too many SME businesses fail to gain financial control and visibility from their internal accounting function. He is a founding Vice President of the Virtual CFO Association.

After completing the Chartered Accountants program at a large mid-tier accounting firm, David joined NAB as a Business Banker before joining a team of management consultants as a Virtual CFO after seeing the positive impact they had on one of his clients. Developing CFO skills and working on intensive business turn arounds, David always wanted to build a business rather than work in one, and developed the model for the Sequel CFO Franchise System.

Kevin Jessup, Business Partner

I love to see success and I love to see great results. I want someone I work with to be successful and play my part. In SMEs I get to do that with real business owners and any contribution I make to their achievement of goals gets me excited. It’s why I work. Working in big business, despite my results, I was a small part in a large organisation, I can have a greater impact, and work with the beneficiary of my impact in an SME.
